What is Vicodin?
Vicodin is tablet that contains the combination of hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Hydrocodone is contained in one group of drugs called as narcotic pain relievers.

How To Use Vicodin Oral
Take this medication by mouth, as directed by your doctor. You may take this drug with or without food. If you have nausea, you may take this drug with food, although doing so may decrease its effectiveness. Antihistamines such as Tavist
Drugs classified as MAO inhibitors, including the antidepressants Nardil and Parnate
Major tranquilizers such as Thorazine and Haldol
Other narcotic analgesics such as Demerol
Other central nervous system depressants such as Halcion and Restoril
What side effects may occur?
Side effects cannot be anticipated. If any develop or change in intensity, inform your doctor as soon as possible. Only your doctor can determine if it is safe for you to continue taking Vicodin.
- More common side effects may include: Dizziness, light-headedness, nausea, sedation, vomiting
If these side effects occur, it may help if you lie down after taking the medication.
Vicodin Oral Storage
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15-30 degrees C) away from light and moisture. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep all medicines away from children and pets.
