Uses of Hoodia
Hoodia products have been marketed worldwide for weight loss; however, there appears to be little quality control or protection of the endangered source plant.
Our products use
only pure South African certified hoodia gordonii from the Kalahari Desert. Hoodia is rare and expensive and is protected by the South African government. Only limited amounts can be exported but the demand is growing. Hoodia is a very popular product and so much in demand that many companies have started selling” fake” hoodia. The two documents that prove the authenticity of hoodia are the C.I.T.E.S Certificate and the Protected Plant Permit. Our Hoodia Gordonii is licensed by the Western Cape Conservation Authority of South Africa and is certified 100% Authentic
There are various species of hoodia
but the Gordonii variation is the only one that contains the all-natural appetite suppressant. Tbis type of hoodia contains a molecule that has similar effects on nerve cells as glucose, and tricks the brain into the sensation of fullness. Results of human clinical trials in Britain suggest that hoodia may reduce the appetite by hundreds of calories a day or more
Hoodia Dosing
There is no published research to support dosages of the herb.
